This Headsox design by Martumili artist Nancy Chapman portrays a part of the Minyi Puru (Seven Sisters) story from the Jukurrpa (Dreamtime). This is a very significant story that travels a very long way around the country. The Seven Sisters are running away from a man who is chasing them. They have travelled all the way from Roebourne to get to Parnkarl where they stopped for a while before flying off again. Enjoy!
